This was Tom Coughlins’s 1st game after the death of his brother. I would like to express my condolences to the Coughlin family. The Giants performance on the field was no better at all. The last time the Giants was (0-2), they went on to win the Super Bowl in 2007. Now New York was trying to avoid there 1st (0-3) start since 1996. 7th Heaven was a popular show back then. As for the good news, Cam Newton’s stat line was a bit better. He went 15-27 on completions, 223 yards passing, 3 touchdown passes and an interception. Plus he had a 3 yard touchdown run. Brandon LaFell caught 2 of Newton’s 3 touchdown passes. That was on 3 receptions for 53 yards receiving.
